FAIRCORE4EOSC takes part in the EOSC Symposium 2022 with two sessions, dealing with PID Policy and Semantic Interoperability in EOSC, and one presentation on the thematic case studies.

The Austrian EOSC Mandated Organisation hosts its 2nd General Assembly at TU Graz, FAIRCORE4EOSC Project Coordinator Tommi Suominen takes part in the meeting with a keynote speech.

FAIRCORE4EOSC will be taking part in the ICRI 2022 taking place on 10-20 October in Brno, Czech Republic.

In this first FAIRCORE4EOSC webinar, we are going to explore the overall objectives of the project, its technical framework, and host a panel with experts from different actors of the Open Science landscape.

Within the EOSC Future project, the Science Project META-COVID (for ‘COVID-19 metadata findability and interoperability in EOSC’) engaged 6 Research Infrastructures (RIs) from 2 thematic science clusters (Life Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities) to discuss contextual metadata and develop a framework for a metadata model to characterise contextual metadata in these domains.

FAIRCORE4EOSC is taking part in the EUDAT Conference 2022, contributing to anticipated discussions in the EOSC ecosystem and beyond.

The FAIRCORE4EOSC (FC4E) kick-off meeting took place on 29 and 30 June 2022 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

The kick-off meeting provided a strong basis for the project activities by sharing knowledge and discussing the work to be done. It was also a great opportunity for consortium members to meet and to get to know each other.
