Joining the EOSC dots in Horizon Europe - FAIRCORE4EOSC Second Briefing
In the past three months, FAIRCORE4EOSC has continued to work on its mission - enabling EOSC users and providers with the core components that will improve discoverability and interoperability of research outputs. In this second briefing, the project summarised the latest developments to share with the wider EOSC community.
The Paper covers the most relevant achievements, including progress in FAIRCORE4EOSC operational work and participation in events, technical updates and the next steps the project is working on.
Get to know the nine EOSC-Core components that FAIRCORE4EOSC is developing.
RDGraph: EOSC Research Discovery Graph is one of them, it is a flexible search service across EOSC repositories that extends the EOSC Research Catalogue.
USE CASE: Social Sciences & Humanities.
To facilitate the availability and interoperability of services for social science and humanities (SSH), CLARIN will integrate its services with EOSC registries. We aim to provide uniform access to data and tools and social science and humanities (SSH) through the FAIRCORE4EOSC tools!
FAIRCORE4EOSC took part in the EOSC Symposium 2022 in Prague with two sessions about compliance for EOSC PID policy and semantic interoperability, and one presentation in a joint session showcasing the added value and applicability of EOSC.
You can now re-watch the webinar recording and see the insightful presentations on developing new EOSC-Core components for a fairer Open Science landscape, to discuss the potential impact and the key challenges ahead.
On 1 December during the euroCRIS Strategic Membership Meeting held in the Netherlands, the FAIRCORE4EOSC team held an insightful meeting of the Work Package 4 and took part in the dedicated session for EOSC-related projects, showcasing and discussing interesting developments going on in the field of research information management and its neighboring areas.
Putting FAIR into practice to support the EOSC vision: featured in GÉANT’s CONNECT
