FAIRCORE4EOSC Technical Project Meeting in Berlin

The FAIRCORE4EOSC consortium members are excited to convene in Berlin, Germany, from October 24-25 for their third technical project meeting. This event presents a valuable opportunity for face-to-face collaboration, focusing on the project's internal technical coordination and co-working.

On Day 1, the meeting will begin with an introduction and overview of the sessions. A software session will address best practices for development within FAIRCORE4EOSC, followed by 30-minute presentations on various components, including RDGraph, PIDGraph, the Data Type Registry, the Metadata Schema and Crosswalk Registry, RAiD, the PID Meta Resolver & Kernel Information Profiles, and the Compliance Assessment Toolkit.

Day 2 will prioritize efforts towards the project's conclusion, featuring discussions on planning and progress that encompass gathering requirements, developing documentation, and exploring the Interoperability Framework/Guidelines. Additionally, the agenda will cover sustainability planning for the upcoming EUDAT conference, , workshop planning for the EUDAT FC4E EOSC-Beyond, and preparations for the final FAIRfest conference scheduled for February 20-21, 2025. The day will also include discussions on the policy brief, upcoming deliverables, component releases, and cross-integration status.
