FAIR-IMPACT Co-located Workshop at the RDA Plenary in Costa Rica
In conjunction with the upcoming plenary meeting, the RDA is excited to introduce the FAIR-IMPACT Co-located Workshop titled "Interoperability Frameworks in a Global Perspective," which will take place on November 11, 2024, from 13:00 to 16:00 local time (20:00 - 23:00 CET) at the University of Costa Rica, Engineering Faculty, Room 303.
This invitation-only workshop is tailored for individuals actively engaged in the development or implementation of interoperability frameworks or research commons. It will provide a platform for experts in research commons, data commons, and science clouds to engage in discussions on interoperability within the context of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) and other global models, projects, and infrastructures.
The workshop will feature presentations and open discussions, focusing on the challenges and solutions encountered in enhancing data commons and clouds. Participants will explore key questions, such as the frameworks adopted for research commons, their implementation, and the challenges faced in fostering interoperability.
This event promises to be a key opportunity for stakeholders to exchange ideas and solutions related to global interoperability frameworks, and to further the development of high-quality, interoperable research outputs and services.
